The UV free spray tanning booth like the Pro Sun Omega Pro model pictured here consists of a stainless-steel shell with spray nozzles which mist or "fog" the customer with a DHA chemical which interacts with your dead skin layer to turn it brown. The nozzle has a
positive charge, similar to
a powder coating spray paint gun, so when the formula is shot from
the spray nozzle it carries a positive charge and seeks a
"ground" through your body, which makes the "mist" attract to
every inch of your exposed skin and evenly distributing the
"chemical" over your body except where you applied "barrier

Another disadvantage of this system is the process itself is very cold and almost "shocking" to your body when the blast of mist is released in the booth and attracts to your body. One important disadvantage is if you do not carefully place barrier cream on your palms, elbows, etc, your skin will turn "orange" in those places. Other concerns include clogging nozzles and the mess inside the unit but this problem can be eliminated with a water wash down system and cleaning up after each customer has finished the session. recently SOLD 2003 ProSun Omega Pro
spray tan booth from Central PA for
the low price of only $5,200. This price did
include delivery, setup, and training as it was
delivered to Virginia Beach, VA. Call 740-607-6860 for
more information about this deal but I really do not recommend
these units and Pro Sun is not selling or servicing them any

The Pro Sun Omega Pro sunless tanning system is no longer being sold or serviced by Pro Sun. You may want to consider a new or used Magic Tan or Mystic Tan booth instead.
Magic Tan has offers three models on the market today: the original MT3000 model features 36 nozzles in a 54 second tan and 3 spray color levels; the upgraded MT3500 model features 27 nozzles, MP3 voice prompt, and LCD diagnostics for remote trouble-shooting; and the latest and greatest is the VersaSpa model which has truly changed the industry by adding heaters and dryers for a much more pleasant sunless tanning experience. The service and utilities needed for this and all other automatic spray tan booths are the same: 110 volt power, cold water supply for wash down, and drain similar to a washer/dryer hook up. Usually the contractors who construct your spray tan room install the same type of plumbing as they would for a laundry room minus the 220v power. You will need a room that is about 8 ft x 10 ft for proper operation.
